The Business School is one of Australia’s top-ranked schools and we are proud to provide a world-class education. UWA announces Diane Smith-Gander AO as the new Chancellor

Prominent Australian business leader and Chair of the UWA Business School Board, Diane Smith-Gander AO, has been named the new Chancellor of The University of Western Australia. Dr Smith-Gander, who has been associated with UWA for more than 50 years, was elected by the University’s Senate as successor to The Hon Robert French AC.

Shann Memorial Lecture: Australia: Why we are where we are.

The 2024 Shann Memorial Lecture will be presented on Wednesday 16 October, 4pm - 5:30pm. The event is hosted by The UWA Business School and The Economic Society of Australia (WA Branch). This year's lecture will be given by Chris Richardson, one of Australia’s best known economists.
