The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Aug. 3-6.
On Aug. 3 at 1:45 p.m., an officer with the Hillsboro Police Department was dispatched to a Harry Sauner Road business referencing an alleged theft. Contact was made with the reporting person, and a report was taken at the scene. The suspect was identified, and warrants were filed for two counts of theft.
On Aug. 5 at approximately 3:10 p.m., a 911 call was made from the 700 block of North West Street in reference to tractor-trailer that was entangles in an electric line. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed that the wire was no longer live. Officers were able to free the tractor-trailer, and AEP Electric was notified.
On Aug. 6 at approximately 3:17 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department was contacted in reference to a neighbor dispute in the 100 block of Trenton Street. Officers arrived on scene, and Timothy Fugate, 41, of Hillsboro was arrested for allegedly being in violation of section 2909.07(A)(3) Criminal Mischief of the Ohio Revised Code.
